What is your packaging made from?Updated 4 hours ago
Our food packaging is made primarily from cardboard, with a PE (polyethylene) lining inside to keep the food safely contained and protected.
Our food is chilled before being placed into the packaging, so it’s cold when it comes into contact with the lining and is not heated again once sealed. Our packaging is tested for cold contact and comes with migration certificates to verify that it is safe and suitable for its intended use. It is also BPA/BPS-free and PFAS-free.
We know some parents prefer to minimise heating food in plastic. If you’d rather not heat your little one’s toddler pots in their original packaging, you can defrost the pot in the fridge and transfer the food into a microwave or oven-safe dish before heating.
This can also be handy for smaller appetites. Simply defrost the whole pot in the fridge, transfer the portion your little one would like into a suitable dish and heat thoroughly. The remaining unheated portion can stay covered in the fridge and be used within 72 hours of defrosting, helping you make your meals – and money – go even further.
